LACE AFFAIR, LullaBellz.com

The lace dress is one of this summer’s hottest trends and I can’t get enough of it- think less tulle trains and more romantic trims and sultry evening outfits. This trend isn’t just for the aisle; this season trend has something for everyone. I love the femininity of it for the day and how sophisticated it can be changed up for the night. DINING IN DIDSBURY, LOUNGE

Situated within the centre of Didsbury, Lounge was one of the restaurants that I heard a lot of people speak about, so a friend and I eventually caved in and decided to try for ourselves! 

The menu held a heap of traditional dishes made for sharing- my kind of dining: the more options the better!
We opted for ciabatta and of course, Houmous. We chose to sample some traditional Spanish chorizo and some delicious garlic squid, which I have never tried before but it was heavenly.

The interior was charming, the food mouth watering and the atmosphere was everything I had hoped for and I can see why this restaurant comes so highly recommended. I just wish I had less wine and more photos! This only means one thing… another visit!

HAUTE COUTURE FALL 2015

After what seems like five very short days, Fall 2015 Haute Couture fashion week has sadly come to a close. This year, so many of the shows have left a lasting impression and copious amounts of inspiration to say the least. With this in mind, above are some of my favourite looks from the Paris runways. To me, Haute Couture is a personal reminder that I don’t just love one style or type of fashion. I anticipate astonishment and expect to be struck by surprise and Viktor & Rolf did just that with their “ Wearable Art” which can only be described as ingeniously stunning.  It would be impossible not to mention the almighty Valentino show, which took place on Thursday evening. Each look approached with a Roman essence- from back-less lace gowns to grand capes and togas. Breath taking prints from Giambattista Valli, Infinite grace from Chanel and delicateness from Dior. Also, I can only dream of owning at least one piece from the Elie Saab collection- of which you can watch the video below.

PENTHOUSE LIVING, BARCELONA

A friend and I were lucky enough to stay in a Luxury Penthouse in the centre of Barcelona: my friend found this beauty on airbnb.com and of course we snapped up the chance to visit the vibrant city of Barcelona.

The rooms were unbelievable, super chic with clean, minimalistic furniture and accessories. My favourites were undoubtedly the terrace, the huge sofa, and of course the wardrobe, which made me feel like Carrie Bradshaw every evening whilst getting ready.

Honestly, it would give anybody wardrobe envy!

The penthouse had two beautiful terraces, one of which we spent most of our time on: a delicious pizza feast on the roof terrace which overlooked the city and provided the perfect view of Casa Batlló, a renowned building located in the centre of Barcelona and one of Gaudi’s masterpieces.

As you can see, the outside areas were just incredible. The dining table, the sun bed loungers and of course, the view. I easily fell in love with this house and would return in a heartbeat but for now, adiós.
